The ‘Elena‘ design has an update!  From when the factory re-opens in January 2022, this style will be made with a different back.  It will be using the same back as the one on our very popular ‘Mia‘ design.

You may or may not have ever noticed, but across the vast selection of our Ladies Latin shoes, whilst there are many different looks for the front of the shoe, many of the backs are the same.  For example, the back of ‘Neeve‘ and ‘Bela‘ is the same, and the back of ‘Melissa‘ and ‘Tanya‘ are the same whilst ‘Flavia‘ and ‘Bela‘ have the same type of back – just one has a longer strap and one has a shorter strap because it has a T-Bar.

Without going into lots of detail – this has always been a very efficient way to manage production and be agile.  You can probably appreciate that it is easier to manage hundreds of different products rather than thousands!

We sometimes find the back design that’s used for the ‘Elena‘ isn’t as perfect as we want.  The back that’s used for ‘Mia‘ is often found to hold the foot much better and is often commented on as very elegant in its style.  So we thought we’d help ourselves to be both a little bit more efficient and improve the product by changing the back of ‘Elena‘ to the same one used on ‘Mia‘.
