Hi guys,
Due to IDS increasing their prices slightly as from 1st March, it means ours will most probably have to change somewhat. We don’t yet know by how much prices will have to increase, if at all, as IDS haven’t yet published a new price list.
Below is the Blog post IDS have posted on their website…
Dear All our Lovely Customers,
Reluctantly, with the ever-rising costs of handcrafting unbelievably comfortable and elegant dance shoes here in Great Britain, we are going to be increasing our retail prices as of the 1st March 2015 for the first time since August 2013.
The average increase is around 4%, which enables us to account for the cost increases of raw materials and components that we have incurred and absorbed over the past 18 months. These include increases in everything from upper materials to glue.
We’re always proud to manufacture here in Great Britain and we’re extremely grateful to our forever loyal following for continuing to buy and wear our shoes despite lower cost imported alternatives that are available on the market today. Our approach is simply to produce the best possible shoes, using the finest materials and components available to us to deliver you all a high quality dance shoe that is longer lasting, more comfortable, more supportive and of course more beautiful than any comparable product.
We at IDS are committed to quality and are firm believers that shoes hand-made in Great Britain represent a superior level of quality and these price increases enable us to maintain a sustainable business model built on quality, great service and continuous product innovation.
We thank you all for reading, and hope that you can understand this requirement. Of course, you’re more than welcome to place any orders in-between now and the 1st of March to benefit from current prices!
Yours sincerely,
IDS.
So as IDS have said, get your shoes before the 1st March to benefit from the current prices.
